Dr. Robert Trenary is an associate professor of computer science at Western Michigan University. He has been with WMU since 1981, and his interests include simulation and modeling, computer science education, expert systems, neural networks, and multimedia applications. He is also the faculty adviser for the Computer Club of WMU.

Dr. Trenary is an alumni of the Fulbright Scholar Program. As a Fulbright Scholar, he lectured at the University of Botswana from August 1995 to May 1996. His focus was on curriculum development in computer science.
